Professional Development Ideas

Please help us in gathering ideas for professional development that we want available in our province. We have been asked to share what topics/speakers we would like as a profession to help inform different agencies that can make it happen. If we have a large number of requests for a particular topic or speaker it increases the chances of having it come to fruition. Therefore, please let us know what/who you would like even if you think someone else has the same request.

In the meantime, we are going to continue our Lunch and Learns which we hope to continue to grow into more facilitated discussions so that we can learn from each other and take the pressure off of each other to be a 'presenter'. If you have any 'hot topics' or an area you would like to share or learn more about please let us know!

At this time SPOT does not endorse PD events shared on the website and it is up to each individual OT to review each opportunity critically in regards to evidenced-based and best practice.
